Julianna Otteson "Julie" Edel, 57, died March 30, 2009 after a prolonged illness.

A memorial service will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 2:00pm EDT. The burial will be at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Bevis Funeral Homne(850-385-2193) is handling arrangements.

A native of Saint Petersburg, FL and Air Force spouse of twenty years, she moved with her family to Tallahassee in 1999. She taught pre-school and kindergarten for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew Edel; two sons, Patrick and Kenneth Edel, all of Tallahassee; and one sister, Carole Mawhinney of Orlando.
