Jamie was a native and lifelong resident of Tallahassee, and was a carpenter.

He is survived by his parents, Anthony Earl Blackburn and Sherry Blackburn, both of Tallahassee; two daughters, Jessica Whiddon of Thomasville and Lacie Blckburn of Crawfordville; his brother, Christopher Daly of Tallahassee; two sisters, Tammy Blackburn and April Barnes, both of Tallahassee; and his fiancee Beth Freeman of Bainbridge, GA.
