He was a native of Holmes County, Florida and had live in Jacksonville for many years before moving to Tallahassee in 1984. He was a member and Deacon chairman at Crossway Baptist Church. He was an ordained minister and a volunteer Chaplin at Big Bend Hospice and Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. He had been the past Master for the William B Barnett Masonic Lodge #186 in Jacksonville, a member of the York Rite, Scittish Rite, and the Morocco Shrine Temple. He was retired from Centel/Sprint phone company after more than 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy Ellenburg of Tallahassee, his children, Thomas Lynn Ellenburg(Stacy) of Jacksonville, Crystal Jean Baxley of Bonifay, FL. and Tayna Marie Ellenburg of Tallahassee. A brother, Byron Kile of Troy, AL, and a sister. Five grandchildren, a granddog, Zippy and a loyal companion, Tony. He was preceded in death by a son, T.J. Ellenburg.
