Mrs. Butler was a native and lifelong resident of Leon County and was a graduate of Leon High School, Class of 1944. She was retired from the Florida Department of Revenue, which allowed her to do what she loved best; spend time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Rhodes (Jim) of Linden, Tennessee and Charles Butler (Susan), Jimmy Butler (Gwynn), Edna Butler (Tom Kriel) and Sandy Singleton (Gary), all of Tallahassee; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Talmadge Harrison (Bobbi Jean) and Lloyd Harrison (Judy).

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Thomas Butler; her parents Toy and Minnie Dean Harrison; a brother Andrew Harrison (Eunice); and a sister Minnie Bass (Benny).
