Poppy was a native of Joplin, MO. and had moved from Lawrence, KS. to Tallahassee in 1989. He was a truck driver for many years and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He like to fish and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Paula Dulaney of Tallahssee, his daughters, Shelia, Irene, and Melissa. Step-children, Eric, Justin, Holly, Megan, Stevie Ann and Bonnie. A sister, Dee Dee and brothers, Glen, Fred, Walter, and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a grandson.
