Kenneth Lee Davis, 64, of Tallahassee passed away on February 22 after a brief battle with cancer.
Ken earned a bachelor and masters degrees from Florida State University. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army and earned a Bronze Star for meritorious service in Vietnam. In 1999, he retired as Assistant Chief of Planning for the Tallahassee/Leon County Planning Department. In retirement, he and Nancy enjoyed caravanning throughout the United States in their Airstream.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; one daughter, Elaine and her husband Tracy Wynn; two granddaughters, Savannah and Rebecca; one brother, Merrill and wife Barbara of Bloomington, IN; and four sisters, Wanda McCall of Winter Haven; Wilma Doebler of Temperence, Michigan; Carol Rice and husband Ken of Waxhaw, North Carolina; and Twila Jessop of Charlotte, North Carolina
