Thomas Foster "Dickey" Peavy, age 83 was a resident at Broad More Nursing Asst. Living in Tennessee, and was formerly of Lebanon, died Sunday, March 22, 2015.

He was born January 17, 1931 to the late Irvin and Sally Boone Peavy. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Florence Smith Peavy; three brothers, James Irvin Peavy, Henry Peavy, and William Richard Peavy; and three sisters, Elizabeth Morgan, Mary Catherine Fenwick, and Nancy Smith.

He is survived by one son, Thomas (Talsha) Peavy of Lebanon; two daughters, Penny (Greg) Arbet of Texas and JoAnna (Darlin) Castillo of Bowling Green; two step-sons, Wayne Buchanan of Tennessee and Jason (Jeana) Buchanan of Florida; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and a special niece, Shirley Lanham of Lebanon also survives along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Thomas Foster "Dickey" Peavy will be conducted at 1:30 PM Monday, March 30, 2015 at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery.

The family requests visitation after 8 AM on Monday at the funeral home.

Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
