Mr. George “Rabbit” Cox age 54, of Mt.Vernon died Saturday December 26, 2009 at the

Rockcastle Regional Hospital after a long illness. He was born on November 8, 1955 in

Rockcastle County the son of the late Luther and Clercie Marler Cox. He enjoyed the

Gateway Program, and was a member of the Sand Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors are: two brothers; James Luther Cox, and William Milton Cox both of

Mt.Vernon. Two sisters; Gertrude Mullins, and Emmie Stogsdill both of Mt.Vernon.

Several nieces & nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by: five brothers;

Wilburn, Charlie, Andrew, Boyd, and Shirley Cox.
