Mr. Jimmy Dale (J. D.) Payne 62 of Richmond died Monday January 25, 2010 at his

home. He was born on April 26, 1947 in Mt. Vernon the son of the late Boyd and Nellie

Cromer Payne. He had been a foreman at Okonite, enjoyed sports, and was a Veteran of

the Vietnam War.

Survivors are: His fiance; Gayle Mullins of Richmond. Two sons; Jeoffrey B.

Payne (Dianna) of Cincinnati, OH and John Edward Payne of Richmond. Three

daughters; Valata L. Hurst (Matt) and Candida L. Smith both of Trenton, OH, and Linda

Gayle Hernadez of Joliet, IL. One brother; Bill Payne (Bonnie) of St. Paris, OH. One

sister; Elizabeth Johnson (J.A.) of Stanford. Twelve grandchildren also survive. He was

preceded in death by two sons; James D. and Timmy Dale Payne, and by one brother;
