Mr. Joseph Rowland 44 of Mt. Vernon died Monday February 22, 2010. He was

born on August 20, 1965 in Richmond, KY the son of Mayme Cope Rowland of

Mt. Vernon and the late Mace Rowland. He was a self employed carpenter, enjoyed

buggy and motorcycle ridding, racing, spending time with family, and was a

member of the Climax Holiness Church.

Survivors besides his mother are: His wife; Rebecca Stamper Rowland of

Mt. Vernon. Two sons; Joseph Wayne Rowland of Berea and Timothy (Jessica)

Rowland of Mt. Vernon. One daughter; Patrica Stamper of Berea. Two brothers;

Johnathan (Madge) Rowland and Zacharias (Ann) Rowland all of Mt. Vernon. Two

sisters; Rebecca (Craig) Garrett of Mt. Vernon and Rachel (Robert) Quinley of

Orlando, KY. Four grandchildren; Baileee Stamper, Daulton Rowland, Austin

Saylor, and Tryson Rowland. Two special friends; Anthony Mason and Rebecca

Simpson. He was preceded in death by one brother; Stephen Timothy Rowland.
