Martha E. Hurst 89 of Norwood, Ohio and formerly of Rockcastle County died Thursday

February 25, 2010 at Hospice of Cincinnati. She was born on November 9, 1920 in

Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Arthur and Cleo Poteet Hurst. She had been a

supervisor for a Transformer Co., enjoyed fishing and soap operas, and was of the

Protestant faith.

Survivors are: One brother; Harold (Pauline) Hurst of Somerset. Three sisters;

Edith (Shirley) Shearer of Indianapolis, IN, Yvonne Ross of Nancy, KY, and Betty (Bill)

Hensley of Elsmere, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in

death by Three brothers; Everette, Ralph, and Willie Hurst and by Two sisters; Louella

O’Callahan and Flora Mae Brown.
