Mrs. Brenda Thomason, 62 of Mt. Vernon died Saturday April 10, 2010 in Lincoln

County the result of an automobile accident. She was born on March 16, 1948 in Butler

County, Ohio the daughter of the late Denver and Samantha Smith Brown. She was a

retired stocking clerk for Big Lots.

Survivors are: Two sons; James Donald Barnes of Mt. Vernon and B. J.

Thomason Jr. of Orlando. One daughter; Ronda Lamon Burton of Leicester, NC. One

brother; Jerry Brown of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by her husband; Bentley

Thomason, by two brothers; Arlis and Danny Brown, by one sister; Diane Brown ,and by

one grandson; Joshua Brian Durham.
