Mr. Carter Renner age 65, of Mt.Vernon died Thursday May 13, 2010 at his home after a

long illness. He was born on December 18, 1944 in Rockcastle County the son

of the late Otto and Jewell Bullock Renner. He was a retired sawmill worker, and was a

member of the Flat Rock Baptist Church.

Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Karen Hare Renner of Mt.Vernon. Two sons; Tim

Renner (Samantha) of Somerset, and Terry Renner of Mt.Vernon. Two step-sons; Keith

Johnson (Alicia), and Kevin Johnson all of Russell Springs, KY. One step-daughter;

Jennifer Jones (Josh) of Jamestown. Four brothers; Lloyd Renner (Lillian), Arlis Renner

(Mary Lou), and Bobby Renner (Diane) all of Reading, OH, and Coy Renner (Loretta) of

Indianapolis, IN. Two grandchildren; Jessie and Emily Renner, 16 step-grandchildren,

and one special buddy; Riley Lovins also survives. He was preceded in death by: two

sisters; Lillie McKinney, and Minnie Mink. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to: Cox Funeral Home P.O.
