Dona Bernice Bledsoe of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Williamsburg Nursing Home in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She was 84 years, 3 months, and 10 days of age. She was born on March 03, 1928 in Sevier County, Tennessee to the late Oscar Campbell and Verdie Mae Webb Campbell. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Coy Bledsoe; and brother, Hal Campbell. She was a member of the Goldbug Baptist Church for over sixty years. She was also a member of the W.M.U.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Rose (Bill) of Corbin, Kentucky; Sharron Garmon (Bob) of Flowery Branch, Georgia; one son, Norman Bledsoe (Cookie) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Zachary Rose, Stephen Rose, Kevin Kersey, Dona Marie Bledsoe, Greg Bledsoe, and Robert Bledsoe; eight great-grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Brooke, Eli, Caleb, Nathan, Alaina, and Garrett; two sisters, Juanita Newman and husband Doyle, Jenell Templeton and husband Robert ; brother, Hugh Campbell; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Dunn and Rev. John Smith officiating. The Graveside Service will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Goldbug Cemetery.
