Johnny Bryant of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tennessee. He was 70 years, 8 months, and 17 days of age. He was born on March 1, 1942 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Esom Bryant and Hester Cox Bryant. He is also preceded in death by infant son, Johnny Ray Bryant; and daughter, Brenda Dianne Bryant. He was a member of the Mt. Ash Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Griffith Bryant; one daughter, Debra Lynn Dycus (John); one granddaughter, Brenda Sue Hale; and one great granddaughter, Breanna Lynn Ragle all of Wolf Creek River Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Pleas Bryant (Dorothy) of Buck Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky and Clarence Bryant of Wolf Creek River Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky; two sisters, Alma Douglas (James) of the Saxton Community and Essie Jean Wilson (Jerry) of the Savoy Community; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eldon Hays and Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Sunny Hill Cemetery.
