Dora Alice Canada of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky. She was 76 years, 7 months, and 17 days of age. She was born on May 17, 1936 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Jim Walker and Minnie Petrey Walker. She is also preceded in death by her husband, George Wolford Canada; granddaughter, Lisa Gale Canada Rains; brother, Clarence Walker; and sister, Argene Walker Lanham.

She is survived by six daughters, Alice Perkins (Bill), Ruby Adkins (Brian), Georgia "Jo" Dupier (Chuck), Danna Kerschen, and Donna Canada all of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Sandra Canada of Sterling Heights, Michigan; two sons, Lester Canada (Rita) and Gary Canada (Kimberly) all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Lexie Ross of Sidney, Ohio and Rosetta Walker Cheek of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Elmer Walker and Chester Walker both of Williamsburg, Kentucky; special friend, Nannie Hamblin; special cousin, Ollie Bell Baird; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Powers and Captain Ross Mahne officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Walker Addition of the Canadatown Cemetery.
