Mrs. Bessie Pearl Bennett was born on May 22nd 1912 and passed away at the Heritage Nursing Home on April 3, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Allie Kinser and the longest living sibling of 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Mrs. Bennett lived to be 100 years, 10 months, and 12 days of age. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Mr. Wes Bennett, daughter Charlene Pickard, and grandchildren Larry and Linda Bradley. She leaves behind 2 daughters, Joyce Bradley and husband Marvin of Loveland, Ohio and Betty Hausman and late husband Charles of Milford, Ohio. Grandchildren Gary Bradley, Gloria Andrews, Vicki Gregor, Wesley and Mark Hausman, Sherry Matthews, Leah Pettigrew, Stephen Pickard, Selinda Gross, Lori Nantz, as well as 20 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. She also had many who admired and loved her, calling her mammaw. Bess was a lifetime resident of Faber and a faithful member of the Brummett Church of Christ. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcat and University of the Cumberlands fan and recognized as the Whitley County Lady Colonels greatest fan. Mammaw will be truly missed by all those who had the distinct opportunity to know her.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest in the Smith Cemetery at Faber.

Serving as Pallbearers will be her great grandchildren, Josh Pickard, Christopher Gross, Ben Hausman, Kyle Nantz, Matthew Hamilton, and Dan Hamilton.
