Glenn Carpenter of Lincoln Park, Michigan and formerly of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Lincoln Park, Michigan. He was 55 years and 9 days of age. He was born on November 26, 1958 in Jellico Tennessee to the late Otis Carpenter and Helen Jean Lawson Carpenter. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Ray Carpenter; and his grandparents, Charlie and Flora Lawson and Beckham and Amanda Carpenter.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Jean Lawson Carpenter of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Willard Carpenter (Debbie) and Ricky Carpenter, all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two sisters, Joyce Faulkner (David) of the Maple Creek Community, Williamsburg and Patsy Chu (Nelson) of Massachusetts: and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6:00 Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Charlie Lawson Cemetery on Mud Creek.
