Deana Louise Bullis, 48, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away December 12, 2013, following years of illness. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, July 31, 1965, to the late, Edward and Vina Poe. Nephew, Josh Poe; brother-in-laws, Timmy Bullis and Sam Jones also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her best friend and life mate, Ray Bullis, her husband; her beloved children; Kevin Manning, Dennis Poe, Brandon (Ashley) Smith, Dusty (Miranda) Smith, and Jamie Peters; her adored grandchildren, Colby Smith, Mason Manning, Payton Deaton, McKenize Smith, Vincent Poe, Aubrey Deaton, Annabelle Smith, and step-grandchild, Matthew; her brothers, Doug (Lisa) Poe, Robert (Linda) Poe, and Tim (Ashley) Poe; sister-in-laws, Kay (Larry) Gray, Lisa (Rick) Mills, and Kim Jones; brother-in-law, Danny Bullis; mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Raymond Bullis; numerous nephews and nieces; plus an uncountable groups of friends.
Deana held a strong faith even when illness tempted her sanity, she kept her belief and values. She always had her home comfortable and inviting. She enjoyed being outside when she could tend to her flower beds, trees, and shrubs. She took pride in her hair and makeup. She was a very talented painter, a creative crotchetier, and a great cook. She touched the lives of many, many, people with her wisdom and humor. While we morn the loss of such a person, we rejoice that she is finally free of physical pain.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome McCullah officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Lawson Cemetery, on Seng Branch in Siler, Kentucky.
