Rev. David Caddell of South Second Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was 60 years, 1 month and 20 days of age. He was born on March 26, 1954 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Wallace Caddell and Ruth (Heatwole) Caddell. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Caddell. David was pastor of Hodgenville, Kentucky Church of God from 1983 through 1991, and pastor of Green Street Church of God since 1991.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (Monhollen) Caddell of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Heather Moore and her husband Eddie of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Beth Davis and her husband Chuck of Corbin, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Eddie Moore II, Katelyn Moore, Emma Grace Moore, Taylor Davis and Addison Moore; his mother, Ruth (Caddell) McCullah of Williamsburg, Kentucky; four brothers, Rev. Joe Caddell and his wife Vivian of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Jerry Caddell of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Mike Caddell and his wife Becky of Pamplin, Virginia and Steve Caddell and his wife Kathy of Dalton, Georgia; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home.
Rev. Caddell will Lie-in-State at Green Street Church of God from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Green Street Church of God with Rev. Bruce Fox officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Davis Addition of Highland Park Cemetery in Williamsburg.
