Carol Elaine Sulfridge Brower, age 69, of Lily School Road, Lily, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at her home. She was born on November 18, 1944 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Charles Sulfridge and Estela (Marsee) Sulfridge. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Brower; a daughter, Patricia Crider; two sisters, Sylvia Hinkle and Sharon Sulfridge; and a brother, Chuck Sulfridge. She was a member of Level Green Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bennett of Lily, Kentucky; two sons, Lee David "Buckus" Bennett of Lily, Kentucky and Gary Scott Bennett (Allison) of Summerville, Georgia; two grandchildren, Devin Crider and Jennifer Harrison; five step-children, Scott Brower of Memphis, Tennessee, Dawn Ganzel (James) of Gladstone, Michigan, Troy Brower (Stephanie) of Munford, Tennessee, Tracy Brower (Steve Allen) of Louisville, Mississippi and Kelly Hill (Michael) of Bartlett, Tennessee; one sister, Hope Manning of Corbin, Kentucky; five brothers, David Sulfridge (Elaine) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Dale Sulfridge (Janet) of Corbin, Kentucky, Phillip Sulfridge of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Lynn Sulfridge of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Gary Sulfridge (Carol) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Ellis officiating. She will be laid to rest in the East View Garden Cemetery in Williamsburg.
