Lonnie Edward Bray, age 86, of Highway 204, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 20, 1929 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Gladys Bray. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Newman Bray, Franklin Bray, Seymour Bray and Ronald Bray; and a sister, Kathryn Hatmaker. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict and a member of Central Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary Wilma Bray of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two children, Charles Richard Bray of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Dianne Kay Chambers (John) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Angela Edwards (Paul), Anne Marie Chambers, Lonnie Edward Bray II (Elizabeth) and Richard P. Bray; three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Edwards, Emily Edwards and Emma Bray; two brothers, Garrett Bray of Monroe, Michigan and Michael Bray of Raleigh, North Carolina; special caregiver, Regina Keisling; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 101, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Fugitt officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Piney Grove Cemetery at Redbird. Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin, Kentucky.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Piney Grove Cemetery or the Canadatown V.F.D.
