Marlene Alice Capps, age 77, of Williamsburg, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She was born February 10, 1938 in Port Clinton, Ohio to the late Ralph Knodel and Thelma Moritz Knodel. She is also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Capps; grandson, Jason Scott Capps; mother and father-in-law, Dora and Lewis Capps; brother, Hugh Moritz; and step sister, Kitty.
She is survived by her husband, Guy Capps of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two sons, James Capps and wife Wanda and David Capps all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Lisa Capps of Williamsburg, Kentucky; one sister, Dawn Behm of Yuma, Arizona; one brother, Billy Moritz of Port Clinton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 6 P.M. until the funeral hour on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Lawson and Rev. Lester Cox officiating.
Following a Graveside Service at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 she will be laid to rest in the Douglas Cemetery in Woolridge, Tennessee.
