Allie Gambrell Campbell, age 91, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, October 16, 2015, at Williamsburg Health and Rehab in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She was born on July 29, 1924 in Knox County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Campbell, Sr.; son, Harold A. Campbell, Jr.; grandson, Harold Jeffery Campbell. She was in the U.S. Military serving in W.A.C.'s and a member of the Jellico Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, JoAnne C. Hicks of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Harold Ray Hicks (Amy Lynn) and Pamela Lay (Earl Beaudry) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; eight great grandchildren, Rose Lay, Caden Hicks, Brenna Hicks, Robin Wade, Tasha, Cindy, Heather, and Tyler; two sisters, Hazel Roche (Jack) of Moravian Falls, North Carolina and Georgia Sokolinski of Corbin, Kentucky; one brother, Claude Gambrell of Scottsburg, Indiana; many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Jellico Creek Baptist Church, Williamsburg, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Jellico Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Cemetery. Military Graveside Honors conducted by American Legion Post 88
