David Hamilton Christian, age 77, of Lot Mud Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at his home. He was born on April 28, 1939 in Lejunior, Kentucky to the late David Richard Christian and Josephine Hyslope Christian. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Michael David Christian and a grandson, James David Christian. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Lake City, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Powell Christian of Williamsburg; a daughter, Connie Christian Ayers of Clinton, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Cassee Christian Gilbert (David) of Lakeland, Florida, Lacee Christian Lawson (Joseph) of Williamsburg, Kristan Nicely (Chad) of Clinton, Kentucky and Kara Loveday (Scott) of Clinton, Tennessee; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob James Christian, Kamron Michael Christian, Nathaniel James Christian, Levi Mack Lawson, Sean James Christian, Dave Gilbert and Lucas Nicely; one brother, Rev. Richard A. Christian of Somerset, Kentucky; three sisters, Rebecca Christian of Nebraska, Rosa Lee Logan of Clinton, Tennessee and Katie Jane Young (Ralph) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter, Rev. Randy Bargo and Rev. Richard A. Christian officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Siler Cemetery on Lot-Mud Creek. Tony Christian, Joe Lawson, Jacob Christian and Steve Lawson will serve as pallbearers.
