Denver Campbell, Sr., age 85, of West Hwy 92, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Hill Crest Health and Rehab in Corbin, Kentucky. He was born on September 7, 1931 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late William J. Campbell and Flora Combs Campbell. He was also preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Flora Campbell; and wife, Jo Evelyn Campbell. A Member of the Masonic lodge over 50 years and Mason of Williamsburg Lodge 490 F & AM.
He is survived by his six children, Denver Campbell, Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, Daniel Wayne Campbell (Cathy) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Paul Jeffrey Campbell (Alice) of Williamsburg, Thomas Edward Campbell (Teresa) of Williamsburg, Steven Joe Campbell (Tammy) of Williamsburg, and Deanna M. Myers (Martin) of Williamsburg; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Lena Mae of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home.
Masonic Service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Jellico Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Lester and Rev. Max Cox officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
