Necola “Nita” Bridgewater Maxey

Necola “Nita” Bridgewater Maxey, age 54, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Campbellsville, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg.

She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Francis Bridgewater and the sister to the late Lillie Francis Bridgewater, Ralph Glen Bridgewater, William Lester Bridgewater, Ray Garland Bridgewater, and Edward Allen Bridgewater. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

She is survived by two sisters, Jessie Lucille Swan of Louisville and Luveda Whalen of Covington, two brothers, Robert Wallace Bridgewater and Chester Davis Bridgewater both of Louisville, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Miller Cemetery.
