Stephen D. “Doug” Mullins

Stephen D. “Doug” Mullins, age 65 of Beechwood Drive, Campbellsville, Ky, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Nortons Hosparus in Louisville, Ky. Born February 4, 1944 he was the son of the late William and Golden Noble Mullins. After serving 35 years with the Social Security Administraton he retired in 2003 from the Campbellsville Social Security office as Assistant District Manager. He was also a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church, a member of the Campbellsville Kiwanis Club and served two terms on the Campbellsville City Council.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Cave Mullins; four children, Stephanie (Matt) Montgomery of Louisville, Ky, Kris (Melissa) Mullins of Lexington, Ky., Myra (Bryan) Vaughn of Louisville, Ky and John Baxter Jessie of Kildare, Ireland and special friend Elise Wright of Campbellsville, Ky. Three brothers, Kenneth L. Mullins of Lawrenceburg, Ky, Marcus D. Mullins of Jackson, Ky. And Braxton B. Mullins of Lexington, Ky., five grandchildren, Greyson, Piper, and Morgan Montgomery, Cooper Mullins, and Will Vaughn, He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hiram L. Mullins and Clifford L. Mullins.

Cremation was chosen. Visitation Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 6:00-8:00 PM, at the Campbellsville Christian Church. Celebration of Life service will be held at the Campbellsville Christian Church, 11:00 AM, Wednesday , May 27, 2009. In lieu

of flowers the family request donations be made to the Campbellsville Kiwanis Club or

Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
