Mr. Miner Wilse Noe, age 95 of Brodhead, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Wilse entered into this life on June 14, 1915 in Harlan, Kentucky the son of Green G. and Minnie Jane Blanton Noe, both of whom preceded him in death. He served in the United States Army during World War II, where we earned the rank of Corporal. On Januray 19, 1934 he was united in marriage to Marie Brown and they shared a wonderful life together. He was a famer and a mechanic at the Farm Bureau Dealership. Wilse was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church, for over 70 years and will be remembered for his love of farming.
Wilse will be lovingly remembered by his children: Eddie Paul Noe and his wife Audrey of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, Gene Noe and his wife Jean of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Carol Ann White and her husband Charley of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Marie Brown Noe; his parents: Green G. and Minnie Jane Blanton Noe; and his son: Dean Noe.
Funeral services for Mr. Miner Wilse Noe will be conducted on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bros. Billy Estes and David Sargent officiating. Interment will follow in the Freedom Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Miner Wilse Noe will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 11-2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.
Casket bearers are: B.J. Noe, Eddie Noe, Donnie Noe, Trenton White, Doug Cornett, and Larry Weaver.
