Mrs. Sharon Kay Mason Foister, age 56, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, (Formerly of Livingston, KY) wife of Elmer passed away Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky.

Sharon was born on April 12th, 1955 in Livingston, Kentucky; a daughter of Jesse Lee Mason and Othia Mae McClure Mason both of whom preceded her in death. On November 2, 2006 she was married to Elmer Foister. She enjoyed traveling, family and friends. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Sharon is survived by: her husband, Elmer Foister of East Bernstadt, KY; one son, Steve Howard (Nicole) of Springfield, TN; two step-children, Michelle Blanton (Kyle) of London, KY and Amanda Hamm of London, KY; five brothers, Kenneth Mason of Sand Springs, KY; Bobby Mason (Peggy) of Eubank, KY; Rooster Mason (Grace) of Sand Springs, KY; Robin Mason (Angie) of Livingston, KY; and Freddie Mason of Livingston, KY; three sisters, Shirley Goforth of Russell Springs, KY; Brenda Hatton (Freddie) of Red Hill, KY; and Virginia Carroll (Barry) of Quail, KY; six grandchildren: Wade Howard, Jenna Howard, Ashley Blanton, Amber Blanton, Jaidah Brown and Presley Hamm; one brother-in-law, Charles Shaw of Russell Springs, KY; two special friends, Peggy Foister, Catherine Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by: one sister, Beverly Sue Mason Shaw.

Visitation for Mrs. Sharon Mason Foister will be Friday, December 30th, 2011 from 6-9 P.M. at the Livingston Pentecostal Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Mason Foister will be conducted on Saturday, December 31st, 2011 at 11 A.M. at the Livingston Pentecostal Church with Bro. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the McGuire Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be: Kyle Blanton, Ed Sturgill, Josh Sturgill, Randy Scott, Jeff Smith and James Adams.

Contributions can be made in her memory to the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY.
