Mr. Frank L. Savage, age 82, husband of Joyce, of Cincinnati passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
He was born on August 8, 1929 to the late Nephi and Marion Savage of Hamer, Idaho. He was married to Joyce Laws Savage in 1954, and from the union came four children. He graduated from Idaho State University with a B.A. degree in Education. He then joined the US Army achieving the rank of Captain. He also was involved in a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry that included senior management positions. He retired from Merrill Dowell as Director of National Trade Relations. He was an elder of Northeast Church of Christ in Cincinnati, and was also involved in other leadership roles in various church programs.
Frank is survived by: his wife of fifty-seven years, Joyce Laws Savage; four children: Gayle Davidson, Bryan Savage, Byron Savage and Jill Martin; four grandchildren: Amber, Shane and Megan Davidson and Ava Martin; one sister, Mary Lou Young and many friends and neighbors.
Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by two brothers: Neal and David Savage.
Graveside services for Mr. Frank L. Savage were held at Providence Cemetery. Military honors were provided DAV #158.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Church of Christ in Cincinnati. Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home and Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals served the family.
