Joseph A. Peralta, age 48, a resident of Socorro, NM, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008. He was born in Socorro to Salomon and Velma (Castillo) Peralta, in 1960. Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, Steve A. Peralta. Joseph is survived by his four loving children, Daniel, Domacio, Diego and Dreena Peralta all of Albuquerque, NM; his parents Salomon and Velma Peralta of Magdalena, NM; five brothers, Melcolme and wife, Esther of Magdalena, Luis Rey and wife, Florence of Alamo, NM, Jerry and fiancé, Janna Taylor of Belen, NM, Manuel of Belen and Andrew Peralta of Magdalena; four sisters, Connie Apache and husband, Ricky of Socorro, Sally Peralta of Globe, AZ, Marcella Peralta of San Antonio, Tx, and Tammy Peralta of Socorro and grandmother, Frances Castillo of Albuquerque. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at Saint Mary Magdalena Catholic Church, in Magdalena, on Friday, July 11, beginning with a viewing at 9:30 a.m. followed with a rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Father Andy Pavlak presiding. Interment will follow at the Magdalena Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel, Domacio, Melcolm, Jerry, Manuel and Andrew Peralta. Honorary pallbearers will be Diego, Dreena and Luis Rey Peralta.
