Charles N. Woods, age 76, died Thursday at Jewish Hospital, Louisville.

He was an assembly line worker and an Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hurst Woods, a daughter, Brenda (Matt) Steinbrink of Louisville, two step-sons, Billy Waits of Eminence and Doug Waits of Louisville, three step-daughters, Jeanne Stivers, Teresa Hardin, and Brenda Gayle Cranmer all of Shelbyville, a sister, Eva Whitaker of Woodland, California, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 9 great, great grandchild.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2006 at Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Don Waterfill officiating. Visitation is 1-9 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial is at Grove Hill Cemetery.
