Alice "Joe" Wise, 82, died Saturday in New Castle. She was a member of Grace Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elihue and Nora Gill Wise and a brother, George "Pete" Wise. She is survived by her sister, Mae Gaines, Shelbyville; Harmon "Mike" Wise, Bagdad; Hugh "Buddy" Wise, Simpsonville; Roy Clinton Wise, Brandenburg; Donnie Ray Wise, Shelbyville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 25th at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-9 P.M. Tuesday, June 24th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Simpsonville Cemetery.
