William G. McAdams, 84, died Monday, June 1, 2009 in Shelbyville. He was a retired chief aeronautical mechanic for State of Kentucky. He was a member of the Shelby Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Johanna M. McAdams, Shelbyville; son, David Glenn (Teresa) McAdams, Henderson; daughter, Emily McAdams (Ron) Lois, Waddy; grandchildren, Melissa Ann (Joshua) McHagan, Louisville; Lindsay Elaine McAdams, Henderson; Jason Michael (LeaAnn) Lois, Shelbyville; and brother, Gene (Barbara) McAdams, Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, June 3rd at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Baxter officiating. Visitation will be 6-9 P.M. Tuesday, June 2nd at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
