Adie Ritter, 87, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Jewish Hospital Shelbyville.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ritter.

She is survived by her son, William "Bill" (Carlotta) Ritter, Shelbyville; sisters, Margie Sparrow, Mt. Eden; Geneva Mathis, Shelbyville; granddaughters, Teresa Lynne Bates, Shelbyville; Deborah Lee Scrogham, Mt. Eden; and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 19th at the Shannon Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Rice and Dr. Geoffrey McGillen officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 P.M. Thursday and after 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
