James Carlton Hayden, age 71 of Finchville, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1715 in Shelbyville.

He is survived by: sons, Steve Hayden (Lori), Ozark, AL, Jason Hayden, Finchville, KY; daughters, Janet Turner, Ocala, FL, Jill Hayden, Louisville, KY; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, William Hayden, Frankfort, KY; sister, Pauline Bartley, Georgetown, KY.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at Shannon Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort.

Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
