Judy Diane Pafford, 55, wife of Kenneth Pafford, passed away at her home Sat. June 5, 2010. She was born August 26, 1954 in Frederick, Maryland to Marjory Peaslee Roark, of Russell Springs, KY and the late James Aldine Livengood.

She worked for the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, was a member of White Sulphur Baptist Church and was involved with the Bluegrass Chaplaincy.

Judy’s time on earth was an example of how to love life, show love to everyone with whom she shared this life, how to depart with grace and beauty. God gave her to us and has now received her back into His arms.

Along with her husband and her mother she is survived by her step father Pete Roark and her step mother Jean Livengood, her daughter; Beth (Antwaun) Harris of Lexington, KY, grandchildren, Dylan & Jordan Spaulding, sisters; Kim (Jerry) Burchett, Kaye (Gary) Harman, Vickie (Lynn) Tudor, Cerina (Mike) Young, Cindy Henry, nieces; Casey Keaton, Jill Henry and nephews; Daniel & Jesse Keaton, Jake Harman, Matthew Tudor, Josh, Jason & Justin Young and Jason Henry. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Hofsteter.

Funeral Services will be 7pm, Tues. June 8, 2010 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. John Cravens officiating. Family and friends may visit on Tues. from 5-7 before the service.
