Denise Michelle Martinez, 43, wife of Canuto Martinez, passed away July 4, 2010. She was born April 1, 1967 in Georgetown to Richard Simmons of Fayette Co. and the late Ruby Dunn Matthews.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and Homemakers. Along with her husband and father she is survived by son, Daniel Simmons of Georgetown and sister Sheila Collins of Lancaster.

Funeral services are 11 am Thurs. July 8, 2010 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Justice officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 am until time of service on Thurs.
