Marian Paula James Lynch, 80, wife of Edward H. Lynch, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at her home. She was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on June 12, 1930 to the late Samuel P. and Gladys Wood James and remained a life time resident of Scott County.

Marian was a graduate of Garth School. She was active in the Big Springs Chaper of the Duaghters of the American Revolution. She was a member of Saints Francis and John Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edward H. Lynch; children: Edward (Missie) Lynch, Jr., Lexington, Kentucky; Michael Lynch, Huntington, West Virginia; Judy Wooley, Evening Shade, Arkansas; Carolyn (Ron) Hall, Lexington, Kentucky; Sean Cooper, Lexington, Kentucky; Kevin Lynch, Columbus, Ohio. Grandchildren include: Susan (Brett) Perks, Indianapolis, Indiana; Jacob Watson, Dayton, Ohio; Patrick Lynch, Memphis, Tennessee; Francis Lynch, Mempis, Tennessee; Colin Lynch, Lexington, Kentucky; John Paul Hook, Evening Shade, Arkansas; Cara Hall, Lexington, Kentucky; and Noah Hall of Lexington, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her sister: Betsy James Geran and her brothers: Woody James and Casey James.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 4:30- 7pm at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services are private.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
