Louise Alice Brashear, 84, wife of Belt Brashear for 65 years, passed away July 13, 2010 after a long illness. She was born on June 27, 1926 to the late Jess and Rhoda McFarland Lynn. She was a life long resident of Scott County, and member of Gano Baptist Church.

Along with her husband she is survived by children; J. Belt Brashear, Jeffrey Lynn Brashear (Angela June), Ann Todd Vance (Earl K.) all of Georgetown, and Jerry Jennings Brashear (Viola) of Stamping Ground; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers; Tommy Lynn, Julius Lynn, and Ralph Lynn and sister Lotti Tackett.

Funeral services will be 11am Saturday July 17, 2010 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Gilbert Purdue officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery with pallbearers being Joe Vance, J. Belt Brashear III, Bethany Brashear, Erik Vance, April Collins, Michael Brashear, and Krystal Powers. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday July 16, 2010 at the funeral home.
