Estelle Mae Friedly Downey, 93, widow of Elmer Downey, passed away, Tues. July 27, 2010 at Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown. She was born to the late Lewis and Maggie Kenley Friedly in Scott County, KY, May 13, 1917. Estelle is survived by her sisters, Goldie F. Rutledge of Frankfort and Myrtle F. Hamilton of Georgetown, her nieces and nephews and a double cousin, Maggie Mae DeMoss, who was raised with her. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Leona Yeary and Willena Duncan and brother Charles Lewis Friedly.

Funeral Services will be 11 A.M., Thurs. July 29, 2010 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Gaither Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, KY with pallbearers being; Thomas Yeary, Marvin Yeary, Tim Rutledge, Tommy Downey, George Wright and Jimmy Gaunce. Visitation will be Wed, July 28, 2010 from 5-8 at the funeral home.
