Gabriel “Gabe” Scott Couch, 19, formerly of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at UK Medical Center in Lexington following an accident. He was the son of Carl and Deana Couch of Pleasureville.

He was a farmer and in his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as riding his four-wheeler. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Mt. Eden.

One sister, April Dawn Dixon, and his paternal grandmother, Ethel Couch, preceded him in death.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two sisters, Melissa Couch-Wayne of Shelbyville and Shawna Couch-Montes of Taylorsville; one brother, Joshua Clayton Couch of Pleasureville and his fiance, Dollie Heady, to whom he was to be married on Saturday, March 28, 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009 at Webb Funeral Home. Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be Thursday 1-9 p.m. Burial will be in Big Spring Cemetery in Bloomfield.
